In the spring 1999 collection, we are presenting fabric themes in a wide range of interpretations, thus demonstrating the diversity of the Johannes Wellmann Collection and the range of furnishing possibilities. |

With all fabrics, however, the focal points of our considerations were the quality concept, an interesting product appearance and a colour concept which applies across all articles. Geometric and linear patterns In the FUTURA collection, we are introducing a new furniture fabric development in the form of TREVIRA CS. |

All patterns are coordinated with each other in terms of quality and colour. Thanks to the clear distinction between the fabric textures in connection with matt/shiny yarns, attractive contrasts are produced in the interplay of elements. In addition to the well-known advantages of TREVIRA CS fibre, the high abrasion level of approx. 30,000 cycles according to Martindale is particulary worthy of mention. As a decorative material to complement this theme, we offer the Signum pattern - a semi-transparent design as well as the room-high, burned-out fabrics Medea, Nova and Debbie.
Elegant article - contemporary interpretation Ragusa , the exquisite check interpretation, impresses through its clearly arranged pattern and its discreet colour pattern. Various binding elements characterize the marked relief-oriented look. On the one hand, the Spoleto fabric displays its independence through a two-tone ribbed texture, on the other, thanks to its colour and fabric coordination, it is the ideal material to combine with the Ragusa checks. A recommended complement to decorative materials is the elegant Borgia Sateen print as well as the Rhombus scherli pattern. The innovative transparent pattern Miramare is once again available as a plain fabric in a striped version or in the same basic material with a spaciously arranged blossom motif in a same colour shade configuration as the Alvara pattern. Another grouping can be formed with Vanessa and Evita floral patterns, which are also spaciously arranged. A special feature is the background design with lacquered effects.
Heavily textured fabrics The characteristic of GOLF theme collection is determined by textured yarns. In the Grenoble collection - a plain herringbone pattern - as well as the Orleans stripe, flammé yarn has been used in both the warp and the weft. The spaciously arranged jacquard fabric Reims effectively distinguishes itself from the interestingly designed sublayer through a new textured yarn used in its pattern, without removing the calm overall effect of the various colour combinations. The diversity of the group is oriented on the latest trends in interior design. Barbara and Babette which are printed on a grainly pure linen fabric, are an ideal complement.
Design ideas with a pattern mix We offer a fully coordinated ensemble in 4 basic colours, which offers attractive design possibilities through many different facets. A striking feature of the PRESTIGE Group is the embroidery-like finishing of the design elements in the pattern. |

Amalfi
- bi-coloured stripe
|
|
Ravello
- loosely-arranged rhombus motif
|
|
Napoli
- stylized floral blossoms

The organically-arranged pattern elements on background textures display a colour shade in a clayey decorative colour enabling the pattern to be effectively presented in relief-like form. Amalfi, the exquisite stripe, can be combined with two other patterns. Thanks to the elegant discreetness of the colours, an ideal combination can be achieved with a fine dainty voile fabric in subdued coloured floral motifs in the Jana and Amanda patterns as well as the slightly dyed Alice version. - Cologne, 4th November 1998 - Click to take a glance at the latest collections of the Johannes Wellman Verlag. |
